On March 1 2003, my sister and i were on the way to visit our father in Charlotte after a major surgery. We were struck head on by an oncoming car on Clontz Hill Road. Our car caught fire and we were trapped. Our rescuers, at first, were both men named Jamie Clontz, the elder being in the Troutman fire dept. Later came the Troutman Rescue squad and fire dept with the jaws of life. We owe our lives to both Jamie’s and the brave men that helped in our rescue. The EMS attendants and staff at Iredell Memorial hospitals that did everything they could to keep us alive. I have never said thank you, but i am eternally grateful for all you did for me and my sister. You put your lives in the line of danger every day, and i am so grateful for all of you. Thank you. My sister and i have life, a different normal but good lives because of you. With all my heart i wish all of God’s blessings to each and every one of you.
